The base game is centered around a single reel where three different symbols can appear. Each spin can either land a symbol or an empty space which is where the challenge starts. 

Each symbol you land comes with a value, but instead of paying out instantly, it's stored in a bank that you can cash out of whenever you want. The goal is to land the same symbol five or more times in a session to unlock its top prize. Every time that symbol appears, its value increases and is shown in a meter beside the reels. The challenge comes from the reset bank symbol, which can show up at any moment and wipe your progress by resetting the bank to zero and ending your streak. 

During my session, it was pretty easy to push the green and red meters up to the halfway mark, so I kept their wins stored in the bank. The green symbol started at 1x and could reach 4x quickly, while the red started at 3x and went as high as 15x with just a few drops. The toughest part was deciding whether to keep going and fill the meter or cash out and reset. I managed to max out the green meter a few times for 12x returns, but I never fully completed any of the others. 

Landing the blue symbol felt like spotting something rare underwater. In my session, just one was enough to make me cash out. Maybe I played it safe, but with a starting value of 10x, I was more than happy to take the steady win. The simple gameplay and underwater theme made 1 Reel Queen of Water far more enjoyable than many larger slot setups.
