Joker’s Five: Cackle Your Way to the Cash Vault

Joker’s Five features simple and classic gameplay. Its name derives from the Joker symbol, which works as the wild. It is also a reference to the 5 paylines of the game and the potential 5X multiplier you can get. Aside from that, I noticed that the game would closely fit the definition of a classic slot. You have the usual ‘7’ symbol (pays up to 50X), a star, a clover, and a golden dollar sign. The red background is plain-looking, though it has vague poker card symbols. 

I can’t say Synot Games did a good job with the design, for me, the overall aesthetic is boring. However, the upbeat soundtrack helped to keep me excited. 

In my opinion, the only thing that makes this game stand out from the crowd is the multiplying wild symbol. It doesn’t just substitute for all symbols in the game. Any combination it makes with the spade, diamond, heart, or club will be multiplied by 3, 4, or 5. That means you can potentially win up to 30X with these symbols. The wild landed on the reels almost constantly during my gameplay, so you can gear up for frequent wins. 

Like other Synot Games, Joker’s Five has a gamble feature. I like the presentation of the gamble feature. You just need to pick between a red and black card, and the mystery card will be turned. If you feel lucky, you can go the entire 10 rounds and hope to take home massive wins. I have to mention that it’s extremely difficult to make a correct guess 10 times in a row. 

Overall, I wouldn’t say that this game was well-designed. It looks basic and the only redeeming aspect is the multiplying wild. The soundtrack also helps to reduce the monotony.
