I had my eye on this game for quite some time, and I finally took the plunge to see if this volcano holds treasures beneath the lava or if it’s all just hot air. 

The game starts off with a bang with the volcano in the background spewing out bright red smoke. In front of it is a standard set of 5 reels and 3 rows all linked together with 10 paylines. Admittedly, I’m not a fan of slots that bring so few winning lines but I was pleasantly surprised to see frequent stacks of wilds landing throughout my session. 

These wilds made it easy to land wins between 1.2x to 4x my bet every three to seven spins on average, which kept my losses manageable. Symbols in the game tend to land in stacks, and with a few lucky spins, I managed to get almost four reels full of matching lower symbols, resulting in wins of up to 12.4x my bet. 

While not common, these bigger wins definitely helped boost my balance during sticky situations. By this point, I had already spent nearly 20 minutes spinning through the slot and I hadn’t made any irrecoverable losses, but I was after big wins and the Hold and Win bonus game felt like my ticket to those wins. The only problem was that triggering the round required 4 or more scatter symbols which is slightly higher than average. 

I had to spin for another 20 minutes before I finally entered the bonus game by landing five scatter volcano symbols. Once inside, the middle three reels expanded by one to two symbols, forming a pyramid shape at the top. The volcano in the background started shooting out flaming balls of magma, which made for some exciting visuals. 

I also enjoyed the re-triggerable free spins, which earned me an impressive 45x win without even landing a jackpot symbol. With this big win under my belt, I decided to quit while I was ahead.
