Golden Wins almost instantly reminded me of Fu Nan Fu Nu, another Asian-themed AGS slot I played some time back. Both games are a part of the provider's Da Ji Da Li series, and share a rich, Asian-themed aesthetic that immediately captivates.

From the moment I began playing, the high-paying symbols, ingots, fortune coins, litters, dragons, and dragon turtles, as well as the lower-paying symbols started awarding me modest wins at regular intervals. 

Wilds, or the Firecrackers appearing on reels 2, 3, and 4 shaped winning combinations too.

Yet, I couldn’t take my eyes off the four Fu babies, grinning beside the reels. They are the gatekeepers to the game's Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand Jackpots.

You then get to choose from 12 hidden symbols until you match three of the same jackpot icons, which awards you the corresponding jackpot, but in my gameplay, I didn't trigger this bonus.

I eventually noticed that wild symbols and golden gongs play a pivotal role in Golden Wins. During one of my sessions, a wild symbol appeared on reel 2, while golden gongs landed on reels 1 and 3, awarding me 10 free spins and a $440 bonus.

The wilds were particularly generous when I unlocked the free spins bonus round, leading to a win more than 36x my bet.

The thrill continued as golden gongs once again graced reels 1, 2, and 3 in another round, granting me another 10 free spins. Although I didn't land 4 or 5 golden gongs for the higher rewards of $880 and $4400, respectively, the bonus win was still pretty decent.
