Dice Ways Slot Review & Free Play

Dice Ways: Roll Burning Dice Across Up to 200,704 Ways

Dice Ways is a slot that uses dice as symbols and runs on six reels plus a horizontal one, where ways can go up to 200,704 because every reel lands a different number of dice on each spin. Besides a unique layout, Amusnet gave this one only their well-known gamble feature and progressive jackpots.

In the base game, wins landed every two to five spins, ranging from 1.2x to 16.5x my bet. The horizontal row of four dice above the grid helped a lot here, since each of them joins the reel right below it, from the second to the fifth, as one extra position.

Wins pay from left to right on adjacent reels, and every matching die on a reel counts as a separate way, so the number of combos multiplies quickly. Once, three green dice paying just 0.3x per way spread across 24 ways and brought back 7.2x my bet, with every winner catching fire on the screen.

Although appearing here and there, wilds and scatters never helped in combos. They’re on their regular payroll here, with the jester hat wild substituting for all dice on reels 2 to 6 and the top row, while star scatters pay anywhere on the regular reels, up to 100x your bet for six.

With a session like this one, I think you must be fully invested in the gamble feature, if there is one. In this game, you guess the color of a face-down card after a win, and red or black either doubles the amount or takes it away. It helps a lot, since there are no other features available.

And of course, there’s a set of progressive jackpots ticking above the grid, but as I said numerous times before, I have never triggered the ones Amusnet often uses in its skins.

Overall, despite a strong base game, you won’t get far unless you catch jackpots here. The absence of other features is highly visible.
