Supreme Hot: Fill the Grid With Fruit for Doubled Wins

Supreme Hot is another variation of classic fruit slots, this time from Amusnet, spinning on a three-by-three grid with 27 ways. This one features regular fruit symbols, progressive jackpots, a gamble, and doubled wins if you fill the whole grid with one fruit.

It's not my first rodeo on a slot with this or a similar skin, so I was impressed by how the base game behaved. I did wait for more than 15 spins a few times, but most often I'd land something after five tries, and rarely more than 10. The wins I got were always strong, between 5x and 18x my bet.

Most of that came from the top of the table, since the red sevens pay 30 times as much as any fruit. The four fruits share the bottom, and on their own, they're barely worth the wait.

The biggest surprise was actually the multiplier feature. Reading the info, I was sure it was extremely hard to land, but I got it twice in 100 spins. The first time, cherries filled all nine spots, paid on all 27 ways at once, and the doubling turned that into 21.6x my bet. About 60 spins later, apples covered the grid and brought the exact same 21.6x.

I also gambled every other win, getting a bit greedy since I'm not used to this skin working so well. Any win up to 35x can go double-or-nothing on a red or black call. Luckily, it didn't clip my wings much, and on average, it doubled the wins I risked without the hit frequency slowing down.

The jackpots still stayed out of the picture, but I didn't mind. Four of them, one for each card suit, grow with every bet placed. After any finished spin, a card round can start at random, and when it does, you'll walk away with one of them.

Overall, this session reminded me why classic slots are so popular. Yep, it's a matter of luck, but when you get up on the right foot, simple features work wonders together.
