The base game is propped up by a wooden post with 5 reels and 4 rows inside tied together by 25 paylines and medium to high volatility. The payouts were pretty standard averaging around 0.64x to 4x my bet and coming every 3 to 6 spins on average. Although the game has a wild reels feature, I found it to be more of a detriment than an asset. 

There are no regular wild symbols and the wild reels almost always appeared partially during my session which didn’t get me any noteworthy returns. This made me turn on the ante bet which was quite expensive and doubled my stake but it promised a higher spawn rate of scatters. 

I personally did not notice any major changes in the amounmt of scatters and triggering the bonus still took me over 150 spins so I wouldn’t recommend getting the ante bet. During the round I was able to get some decent multipliers and made an alright 29x win off of 9 free spins. It was still better than the Hold and Win bonus where I only made 25x wins. 

Honestly, I wasn't impressed by the Wolf Thunder slot. It feels like a typical release of its time, without much to keep the gameplay engaging or enjoyable. The hold and win feature feels almost like a gimmick with how low the wins were and the free spins take way too long to trigger.
