The game starts in a simple 5x3 grid with 25 winning lines and a medium-high volatility setting. The setup favors quick wins but the payouts left a lot to be desired in my session. I was only making between 0.20x to 0.80x returns every winning combination and they took between 2 to 5 spins to land which gave me quite a slow start. This went on until I was able to land three scatter symbols and enter the free spins bonus game. 

Once done I was awarded 8 spins where only high-paying symbols would land. During the round, I was also able to land a fair few cash symbols but sadly no collect symbols were available to help me cash out those wins. For this reason, I made a minor 12.20x win from the round which would have been a decent start early on had I not made significant losses during the main game. 

After about twenty more minutes of spinning, I managed to land six glowing circle symbols and enter the Voodoo respin feature. This round started on a new set of reels where only cash prizes could land and I had three respins to get as many as I could. With each cash symbol that I landed, the number of spins would reset back to three which helped me get a fairly big 72x win thanks to a collect symbol landing during the round. 

The collect symbol ended up taking in all the cash values on the sticky cash symbols and adding them up. Had I managed to land fifteen cash symbols I could also have triggered the jackpot worth 1,000x returns over my bet. However, landing these cash symbols wasn’t that easy so I wouldn’t recommend holding out hope for the big jackpot on offer. 

It is obvious that the Voodoo People slot game by BGaming shines through its bonuses but the path leading to these bonuses is a rocky one, to say the least. The base game would have been fun if there were occasional multipliers or a few features but in its current state, I’d advise being cautious and only playing this game for free on the demo slot available on top of our page.
