3 Pots O’Gold Megaways is one of hundreds of online slots to use Big Time Gaming’s Megaways mechanic. Unlike most others, however, its maximum number of ways to win is 15,625, with all six reels capable of producing up to five symbols on each spin.

The slot comes with a wide range of features. When I played, I got to experience quite a few of them and thought they made the slot fun and engaging. What I particularly liked was the progression system, where landing collector symbols unlocked new ones with special effects.

I benefited from the cash prize collection feature quite a few times, winning various amounts of money from just a few times my bet to 16x. I unlocked all four collect symbols, plus the wishing well that also acted as a collector.

The only collector symbols I won with were the basic one and the expander. What the expander did was it nudged every reel with a cash prize symbol, covering them in cash prize symbols.

Then there was the free spins round. I needed three scatters to trigger this, but never managed to land three, unfortunately. There were multiple spins where just two appeared. Since there was no option to buy free spins, I didn’t get to experience the round.

The one feature I didn’t unlock from the progression system was colored scatters that added enhancers to the free spins round. Even though there was a lot I missed out on, this was understandable since there were a large number of features.

I’d still suggest giving 3 Pots O’Riches Megaways a shot. Just bear in mind that the total number of ways to win isn’t as large as other Megaways slots, and some features are harder to trigger than others.
