Coin Volcano: Interesting Gameplay, but Hard to Win

Coin Volcano isn’t like most other online slots purely because you can’t win in the base game. The only way you can win is by triggering the respin round. To do this, you need to fill the middle row of the 3x3 grid with symbols.

Before I started playing Coin Volcano, I thought the way it worked sounded interesting. I always like trying out slots that do things differently. However, I only managed to trigger respins four times during my playthrough.

The respin round worked like most other similar features. It had cash prizes and jackpots, along with mystery symbols that gave out random rewards. The volcano on the left of the grid could also add multipliers to certain positions. 

My payouts from it were 26x, 25x, 14x, and 25x. These were pretty decent on the whole, but they weren’t enough to help me make money. In fact, I lost a lot of money while playing Coin Volcano.

If there had been some way to win during the base game, I might have been fortunate and lost less money. Even though I liked the concept behind Coin Volcano, I was disappointed by the gameplay.

This was because the respin feature rarely triggered and when it did, it was hard to land huge wins. Again, I was pleased with what I won, but given the way the slot worked, I was hoping for bigger payouts. 

Would I recommend playing Coin Volcano? I’d suggest giving it a go if you’re after a slot with different gameplay. Just bear in mind that it’s quite difficult to make money from Coin Volcano since the respin feature may not trigger that often.
