Fans of parrots and mayhem, Pirots 4 by ELK Studios might just top your list. Four prequels took the parrot crew from treasure hunts through dinosaur lands, the Wild West, and a cluster-pay detour. This edition launches them through a black hole into orbit.

Out of three avatars, I picked Inferno for my session. But whichever one you choose, the best missions pay up to 10,000x.

In the 6x6-sized grid, combos came in between 2.5x and 9x my bet, but the board was cold from the start, with two to three hits every ten spins.

A collection meter tracks gems and wilds, and once full, releases new feature symbols. Gems climb to payout level seven through Upgrade and Upgrade All symbols. Coins range from 5x to 1,000x, plus a Max Win coin that covers whatever is left to hit the cap.

Transform flips a nearby cluster to match a bird's color. Spacecorn fills empty cells so birds cross gaps. The Black Hole absorbs everything and randomly drops it back. Two stuck birds Switcheroo and swap. Three or more clustering triggers a Power Clash that clears a 5x5 area and sends them flying through anything in their path.

Corner bombs at the grid's edges expand it up to 8x8 when detonated by a matching-color collection, unlocking tunnels with hidden features and portals for teleporting. Charlie's Extra Chance randomly detonates up to four when the flock gets stuck.

There is also a big red "don't press" button that triggers the Charlie Feature, and that one sets every bird on fire at once. The Inferno coin game works differently and kicks in when Spacecorn clears the entire board, filling the grid with coins for the flaming crew to walk through and collect.

That’s what happened around my 80th spin, and between Fire Minions and a Transform that torches adjacent birds and sends them on a fire marathon, leaving trails of gems or coins, the sequence built to 18x my bet.

Three scatters trigger five free spins, where grid size, upgrades, and meter carry over. A super scatter upgrades to 8x8. Five X-iter buys from 3x to 500x cover bonus hunts to super free spins.

My session was all squawk. Far from bad, just that with this much chaos igniting every spin, I expected the embers to burn brighter.

Entertaining bonus, modest return

Triggered a bonus round and ended up with about €1.60. Not a big payout, but the feature itself was engaging, with plenty of movement and interactions that made the experience enjoyable.

Feature-packed and engaging

Pirots 4 has a lot going on, but in a good way. The moving birds and feature combos keep things interesting, and I had a few solid runs. It doesn’t always lead to big wins, but it stays entertaining.

Step 1
