This fearsome god comes armed with transforming wilds and progressive multipliers worth up to 10x in the bonus round. And, my greed got the better of me, and I had to test my luck against the ruler of the underworld.

Inside hell, above a river of blood, sits a 4-5-5-5-5-4 reel layout built around cascading reels. You need to match at least three identical symbols on both the leftmost and rightmost reels to create a winning combination. Like most cascading slots, the symbol payouts aren't particularly generous. I believe that's why the gamble feature was added to pump those numbers up.

As for the bonus round, you'll need to land 3 scatters to trigger it. During the feature, landing another 3 scatters awards 2 extra respins.

It took me around 40 spins to trigger my first bonus. During the feature, the progressive multiplier increases every time wilds transform from regular symbols. I managed to build it all the way to 10x, resulting in an 118x return. The second bonus wasn't far behind either, paying 94x my bet.

Before wrapping up my session, I also tried the Bonus Buy for 100x my bet, which rewarded me with 156x my bet, along with 4 extra spins. If your bankroll can comfortably support it, I'd say it's worth considering, but stay pragmatic and don't let your guard down.

God of the Underworld has certainly made me rethink Hades' reputation. He's never really been the villain in mythology, and after my session, he wasn't one for me either. With rewarding bonus rounds and consistently active base game action, I'd happily make another trip to his kingdom.
