I put those fiery fruits through 300+ spins, chasing bonus multipliers worth up to 10x. Here's how that journey through hell went.

Levitating above the flames is a five-reel, three-row slot played across 5 paylines. Fruits, lucky sevens, wilds, and scatters fill this classic-themed video slot. The RTP stands at a respectable 96.16%, though I have to disagree with its advertised medium-high volatility.

Throughout my session, I was landing wins every 8 to 9 spins. To make matters worse, it took me 21 spins just to land my first win. Thankfully, the game tries to compensate for those long droughts with exceptionally high symbol payouts. 

The lowest-paying symbols start at 1x, while the top combinations can reach 200x your bet. Rarely but I managed to land wins of 10x, 12x, and 20x, with my highest base game hit reaching 60x my bet after eight blueberries connected across two paylines. 

Those bigger wins helped me stay put while waiting for bonus round. Here, the feature plays out on a separate bonus reel that awards prizes based on the value it lands on. Landing 3 to 5 scatters, regardless of paylines, unlocks the bonus.

To make things even more interesting, the Boost and Multiplier features can enhance the bonus rewards. After roughly 35 spins, I triggered my first bonus and walked away with a 32x return without any multipliers. The second feature was much kinder, landing a 6x multiplier that turned my 20x prize into a very good 120x return.

There isn't a bonus buy option, but the game does offer ante bets. If your bankroll can handle the extra cost, I'd say they're worth considering.

Nowadays, very few slots have true high-risk, high-reward gameplay the way Hell Cash does. It made me suffer through some brutal dry spells, but it also rewarded me with some memorable payouts.
