We’re heading back hundreds of years to the golden age of the Aztec Empire in this slot. This game has a rather plain design, and the only thing you’ll see in the background is the blue skyline. I generally liked the artwork in the game. The main symbols featured are the Aztec king, a knife or sword, and an Aztec sculpture. You’ll also find the usual card icons in the game, and these are designed to look like old Aztec symbols. 

So, what about the gameplay? It’s fairly straightforward. You can spin the reels using the spacebar instead of your pointer. Better yet, you can turn on the auto-spin function and spin the reels up to 100 times. I found this feature quite basic, especially because it doesn’t specify the number of spins. Instead, it keeps going until you manually turn it off. You should also note that the 25 paylines can’t be adjusted. 

Moving on to the bonuses. The only one available in the game is the free spins feature. You can get a total of 20 spins, and these come with the Power Line feature. Keep in mind that the multiplier on the Power Line increases by 1 on each spin until you score a win. Impressive, right? But I couldn’t retrigger this bonus.  

If you’re feeling lucky, you can turn on the gamble feature to increase your winnings. This only works if you turn on the gamble feature before you start spinning the reels. Your role here is to only pick the color of the card (red or black). So, you theoretically have a 50% chance of picking the right option. Note that the gamble feature goes on for multiple rounds and can be quite profitable. 

To sum up, Aztec Power is an entertaining slot machine with sharp graphics. I found the free spins bonus profitable, especially with the Power Line feature.
