What The Fruit: Can You Squeeze 10,000x Profit Out of These Smiling Fruits?

What The Fruit by Hot Rise Games caught my eye right away, and its 5-reel, 4-row grid with 40 paylines and a 10,000x max win gave me reason to stay. Little did I know that that was a mistake. But we’ll get to it a bit later.

You should know that this slot plays on a low-medium volatility at 94% RTP, and I felt both within the first dozen spins. Royals returned between 0.3x and 1x my bet most of the time, pineapples and pears hit around 1.5x on their best spins, and the balance just kept leaking.

The part that could have proven most profitable is, in my opinion, the blender mechanic. Three fruits, green apple, blueberry, and strawberry, all collect into blenders above the reels. Once one fills, that fruit becomes Wild with a 2x multiplier on any win it completes. A green Wild closed a watermelon four-of-a-kind for 3x my bet. Not a big moment, but the system works.

Where the real upside is supposed to live is in the Respins. Each color does something different when it triggers. Green awards 4 respins that reset with every Prize. Blue stretches the grid to 25 positions. Red adds a side reel with multipliers at 2x, 3x, or 5x per row. Prize symbols only drop during these rounds.

I saw Green fire once. One Prize, roughly 4x my bet, done. Blue and Red never left their blenders, so the expanded grid and the multiplier reel stayed theoretical.

Overall, decent mechanics stuck behind a session that didn't want to show them off. The fruit kept smiling, but there wasn't much to smile about on my end.
