Robopocalypse: Join a Futuristic Battle and Grab Big Wins With up to 10x Multipliers on Free Spins

Spinning the reels of Robopocalypse felt like stepping into a sci-fi blockbuster. Upon launching the slot, the sleek cybernetic design with rain pouring down and flames dancing around parts of the high-end buildings immediately caught my attention. 

While the gameplay didn’t seem particularly spectacular at first, the 1024 paylines provide plenty of opportunities for decent payouts. Set on a 5x4 grid, the game has medium volatility so getting winning combinations up to 1.60x my bet was quite easy. I even managed to win up to 100x of my stake when I landed winning combos with the battleship symbols on multiple paylines. 

There are also two gun symbols that improve your chances of winning and boost payouts. However, be prepared to wait a bit before landing these special symbols or triggering free spins.  

 Whenever the multiplier gun symbol lands on reel 2, it spins to reveal a multiplier number between 2x to 10x. The multiplier selected from the gun chamber is applied to payouts from the spin, boosting your prizes. Similarly, when the wild gun shows up on reel 4, it spins to reveal a number of wilds ranging from 1 to 5. 

The number of wilds selected will be added in random positions on reels 2 to 5, increasing your chances of making winning combos. 

What elevated my experience in this slot game is the free spins feature. With just one scatter symbol on reel 3, you are awarded 8 free spins. The transition to the free spins game is accompanied by interesting animations. 

A menacing robot appears on the left-hand side of the screen to scan the middle reel with its eyes. A vibration effect follows and transforms the city backdrop into a ruined landscape where the free spins are played. The background soundtrack is also intensified, creating a suspense-filled atmosphere. 

If you’re lucky to land either the gun multiplier or wild gun on the same spin as the scatter symbol, you can expect big wins from the free spins session. Both special symbols are locked during the free spins and their effects are added to each of the spins.  

Sadly, I didn’t get to land the scatter bonus with any of the special symbols during my session. I experienced the special bonus games through the “Buy Pass” feature, where you get to pay between 89x to 450x your current stake to trigger a combination of features. 

Although winnings can be substantial when you activate the bonus games using the Buy Pass feature, I don’t recommend it. I activated it a few times and made a profit only once. You end up earning an amount less than you paid for the feature.
