Beerhalla: Find the Barrel Full of Mead Among Empty Ones for up to 3,840x Wins

Pillage and plunder makes up the bulk of what Viking sagas tell us but we never get to see the celebrations that come after heroic battles. Mancala Gaming’s Beerhalla invites you to a grand Viking fiest where barrels of mead hide prizes go all the way up to 3,840x your bet. Hidden among these riches are empty barrels too so we need to pick carefully!

Beerhalla gives you 4 different barrels to pick from and 9 different rows to climb up. Each time you successfully pick a barrel with a cash prize, you advance onto the second row with an even bigger prize waiting to be taken. When I first booted up the game, I started off on the easiest difficulty setting where 3 out of the four barrels have a prize. 

Each bet I made gave me a chance to climb up all 9 rows of barrels and on average, I was getting 3 to 4 safe positions before either cashing out or landing an empty barrel and losing my bet. On average, the round is much easier to traverse than other difficulties but has the lowest returns so I was only making 1.26x to 3.01x returns on my bet on winning bets. 

Soon enough, I decided to test other difficulty setting with the hardest one being nightmare mode where only one out of four barrels is safe and has a cash prize. Although the prizes in nightmare mode start out at an impressive 3.8x your bet, I found that making wins in the round was way harder than I previously expected. 

To cut a long story short, I found that the medium difficulty setting was the best for players looking for a challenge and some substantial wins. In the setting, the number of choices you have between barrels is dropped from 4 to 3 and cash prizes started out at a decent 1.42x my bet. After extensive testing, I found that I was making between 2.14x to 4.81x my bet per winning bet which was higher than all other difficulty settings in the long run. 

Although Beerhalla does not bring any flashy features or a bonus game to speak of, what you have here is a solid experience. I found that the various difficulty settings can easily cater to a variety of players and offer radically different experiences for people. All of these factors combined made me enjoy my time in the game even if it gets a bit boring after a while.
