You want carrots? Pay the Don. That is literally written across the top of Wild Don Donkey by Massive Studios, and it depicts the experience perfectly.

This is a 5-reel, 4-row all-ways slot dressed in retro noir, where a mafia donkey acts as a multiplier wild and sticks to the reels during free spins. The ceiling goes up to 50,000x your bet with enhanced modes, and the whole thing plays as ridiculous as it sounds, on high volatility and 96,59% RTP.

In the base game, most hits fell between 2x and 8x my bet. Diamond pouches and money bags connected now and then, and carried me for more than 40 spins. I had a few dry stretches, but nothing alarming.

The Don landed on reel three, right where an x5 multiplier reel was waiting for him, and turned a basic card royal combo into a 22x hit. That is how the multiplier reels work here. Good idea, average experience

The mechanics are interesting, especially with random multipliers and scatter pays. However, the gameplay feels uneven. Some sessions are okay, others feel too dry to stay engaged for long.

Not worth higher bets

Tried increasing my bet hoping for better results, but it didn’t change much. Wins stayed small and the feature felt hard to trigger. Overall, it just drained my balance without much payoff.
