NETENT DEAD OR ALIVE 2 SLOT REVIEW
You all know and love the first Dead or Alive slot and thanks to that, NetEnt decided to give it a sequel. Dead or Alive 2 was released on April 24, 2019, and it’s built using HTML5 technology, so you can enjoy it in any browser. Or even on your mobile device if you feel like it. This classic video slot takes you back to the 20th century Wild West and even though it lacks any particularly exciting features, it is still a slot that is sure to follow in its predecessor’s footsteps. You can give the demo version a try for free right here or you can try your luck in SlotsMate’s Real Money Slots section.
HOW TO PLAY THE DEAD OR ALIVE 2 SLOT
Before you unholster your revolvers you should, of course, know that the Dead or Alive 2 slot comes with an RTP of 96.8%, having a classic setup of 5 reels and 9 paylines. And if there comes a moment when you just get tired of spinning the reels yourself, there’s always the Autoplay feature. Just like its predecessor, Dead or Alive 2 is a highly volatile slot.
DEAD OR ALIVE 2 SLOT FEATURES
- Free Spins Feature. NetEnt never disappoints when it comes to the free spins features. This time is no exception, this game mode being present in this slot as well. However, it comes with a twist. Three, to be exact. Once you trigger the free spins, you will get to choose between 3 game modes: Old Saloon, High Noon or Train Heist.
- Old Saloon Mode. The Old Saloon mode will remind old players of the first Dead or Alive. During this game mode, all your wins will be multiplied by 2, along with any wilds that land on the reels being locked into position for the remainder of the game mode.
- High Noon Mode. This one is by far the most volatile out of the three and uses NetEnt’s MAX concept, offering you an incredible 100.000 times your stake jackpot. Land more than one wild on any reels and they will multiply!
- Train Heist Mode. This particular mode is all about the increasing multiplier. Every time you land a wild on the reels, the multiplier increases by one. You also get one extra free spin. If you manage to get the multiplier meter up to 16x, you’ll be awarded 5 more free spins.
All in all, old players and perhaps new players alike will discover that NetEnt basically combined the old slot and the new one. This is not a bad decision at all, seeing as you won’t have to choose between them. The MAX concept is also used appropriately here, even though you will have to arm yourself with enough patience to reach the max win.
