At first sight, the city in Tombstone Begins looks like a wasteland. But underneath the five-by-four grid, Nolimit City has hidden tons of action, with sticky respins, revolver bullets that transform the reels, multipliers reaching 100x, and three tiers of free spins. This slot's unique feature set is cool, but I didn't see much of it. Most of my returns fell in the 0.7x to 6.5x firing range. Rare hits above 2x came, as usual, with the help of wilds. All others mostly fell below 1x the bet, and the frequency was approximately one hit per seven to fifteen spins.

It took longer to understand how each feature works than to figure out I won’t be seeing much of it. The most useful in my session was the respin mechanic, where any win awards a respin, and the winning symbols stay sticky. Every new qualifying symbol adds another respin.

The most interesting one was the revolver feature. Each revolver carries up to six bullets, and one fires per spin at a regular symbol nearby. There are six bullet types, and each influences the reels differently. I only saw the multiplier type, and despite its 100x ceiling, all it did was double one of my wins that was below 1x the bet.

Besides symbols like Unleash, which makes every revolver fire at once, and Refill, which restocks them to six bullets, there are also three spin-inspired bonuses. Yes, they missed me, too, but that doesn't mean I can't admire them from a distance. For example, Widowmaker Spins triggers on 5 bonus symbols and lasts 10 spins, with every revolver firing its full chamber.

Nolimit also stocks the shelves with bonus buys. From 2x to 999x your bet, you can buy a guaranteed bonus, a loaded revolver, or a posse of them.

When I was done with the session, or more accurately, when the session was done with me, I really felt left out. So much in the store, nothing within reach. Shame. On the other hand, I can't be so subjective and say I wouldn't recommend trying the demo here on SlotsMate, since the potential for both an immersive session and high payouts exists.
