Let’s go through what the game offers in detail and what it offered me in particular below. 

The base game offers a quirky 3x6 reel grid with 20 paylines carrying symbols that pay between 0.50x and 20x your bet, although my own session never peaked that hard. Most wins arrived every 3 to 7 spins, usually paying between 1x and 4x my stake. Funnily enough, BAR symbols are among the higher-paying icons in the game. I only realized that after three of them landed together for an 8x payout! 

Throughout the base game, I kept seeing Pink Clover symbols, which honestly looked more like bright pink hibiscus flowers than lucky clovers. These landed carrying values between 1x and 8x my bet on the outer reels, but they don't pay on their own. Instead, they need Collect Clover symbols to gather their values. 

The main attraction is the Hold and Win Bonus, triggered by landing three or more Pink Clover Bonus symbols. Once activated, the reels switch into a Hold and Win feature where bonus symbols lock in place, and you receive three respins. Every new bonus symbol resets the respin counter back to three, while special jackpot symbols can award one of four fixed jackpots up to 1,000x your bet. 

When I triggered it, I landed two Collect symbols, followed shortly afterward by another Collect symbol with a random multiplier on it. Several of the pink clovers on the reels were carrying prizes worth 20x my bet or more, thanks to small 2x or 3x multipliers. The result was a 129x win, by far the best moment of my session. 

To be fair to the Pink Clovers XXXL Hold and Win slot by Playson, the visuals definitely feel electric. The problem I have with it is the mechanics and features, and although they add multipliers into the loop, the moment to moment gameplay just feels bland and predictable. If you are okay playing a mediocre base game just waiting for the bonus to appear with a high profit potential, it might be worth a look.
