Pajares is themed to film and TV production and looks appealing thanks to the high-quality design of its visuals and overall presentation. The setting is a studio with film strips acting as reels and an animated male character, presumably Parajes himself, standing to one side. 

The gameplay wasn’t too bad. I have to say that the base game wasn’t too enjoyable because of the fact that there were only 10 paylines. I still won often enough, though my payouts were mostly around the size of my bet or just a few times bigger. None of the payouts I earned were substantial.

However, it all changed when I got to play the bonus round. The slot had three in total and getting three scatters on the reels triggered one of them at random. I landed three scatters twice and both times I got to play a feature with three boxes, each of which had a cash prize.

I was shown the prize in the first box and could collect it or reject it and see what was in the next box. This next prize could be higher or lower. The first time I played it, I collected the first prize of 90x and was delighted and pleasantly surprised by how much I’d won. 

The second time, I decided to gamble a bit. The first box revealed 80x, which I rejected, while the second revealed 50x, which I didn’t accept. Then the third and final box revealed 90x, which I very gladly accepted. 

These two extra-large bonus payouts helped me make quite a hefty profit from playing Pajares. I have a feeling I struck it lucky and that if I played the slot again, the prizes wouldn’t be as high as they were. The slot also had an expanding wild that triggered a respin. This appeared a few times, though it never gave me any decent wins.
