The game runs on a five-reel, three-row layout with 20 fixed paylines. RTP is set at 96%, hit frequency sits at 29.89%, and the max win goes up to 5,000x your bet. Volatility is listed between medium and high, which matched my experience during the session.

In the base game, wins were coming in fairly often. I was landing payouts every three to four spins. Most of my wins stayed small, usually between 0.80x and 1.60x my bet. From time to time, I hit slightly better returns around 6x or 7x return, but nothing that really moved the balance in a big way.

To trigger the bonus round, you need to land three or more scatter symbols. For me, it took close to 30 spins to activate it. The bonus paid out 38x my bet, which felt average at best. There’s also a bonus buy option priced at 70x your bet, but based on how the bonus played for me, I wouldn’t recommend testing it.

The slot uses a TopHit feature, where certain high-paying symbols can turn into wilds when they appear in the panel above the reels. There’s also a coin collection mechanic tied to the leprechaun symbol, which can boost payouts over time, especially during free spins. 

During free spins, activated symbols stay active for the entire round, which helps when things line up properly. Coin symbols can also stack multipliers as they’re collected, pushing payouts higher if luck stays with you. For me, it paid me a 42x return.

There’s an ante bet option that increases your stake by 50% to improve bonus visibility, and you can also directly buy the bonus. I stuck to the base game, as both options feel risky unless your bankroll is built for swings. In short, Bank of Blarney keeps things ticking with frequent small wins, but bigger moments are rare. 

In the game, the bonus round can pay, but it doesn’t always justify the wait or the buy-in. If you’re comfortable grinding through smaller payouts and waiting for features to line up, it can hold your attention.
