This slot features a 5x6 grid, with an extra reel position on top. It uses cluster-pay mechanics, meaning symbols must land on adjacent positions either vertically or horizontally to form combos. Though I’ve always loved slots with cluster wins, I found it frustrating that you need at least 9 symbols in a cluster to get a payout.

It took me 8 to 10 spins to land clusters and the payouts were just around 0.75x to 4.50x. These small wins weren’t helping my bankroll in any way. 

I found the Sunny Respins in the base game slightly more interesting. Whenever the symbol in the extra spot forms a cluster with those below, the symbols are held while other reel positions are respun. The respins end when a new symbol does not improve the returns of the already sticky clusters. This increased my payouts as I got returns around 9x my stake quite frequently, but still didn’t cover up for base game losses.

It took about 20 minutes to land three scatters and trigger the free spins for the first time. During the free spins, only wilds land on the extra spot on the grid, increasing the chances of getting the Sunny Respins. Win multipliers also increase randomly during respins up to a maximum of x50.

There’s no guarantee of winning big prizes from the free spins bonus. My first activation only won me 3.75x my stake. However, I got to hit a win of 135x my stake once. On this memorable occasion, I had many sunny respins and was lucky to get multipliers up to x6 twice.
