I didn’t know what to expect from Dick the Farmer, but after spending about an hour and a half with it, I walked away amused and mildly surprised. It’s one of those games that clearly doesn’t take itself too seriously. The tone is light, almost silly, and the visuals match that energy with oversized vegetables, goofy animal symbols, and an overall cartoonish art style. I’m not usually a fan of overly playful slots, but this one worked for me.

The main character, Dick, pops up every now and then with quirky animations, waving a pitchfork, chasing a chicken, or laughing when you land a win. These little touches made the game feel more alive than most. The background is a cheerful farm with clouds drifting and animals occasionally making noises, which helps keep things visually fresh.

In terms of gameplay, it’s a 5-reel, 20-payline slot with decent pacing. Wins in the base game came frequently enough to keep my balance from draining too quickly. I hit the Free Spins bonus twice, and that’s where things got more interesting. You get 10 free spins, and every time a wild lands, it expands to cover the reel. In one of the rounds, I managed to land stacked wilds on reels 2 and 4, which gave me a 76x payout. The other bonus was much smaller, around 22x.

There’s also a random Chicken Poop Wild Drop, yes, it’s as weird as it sounds. It triggered only once in my session, turning three random symbols into wilds.
