How To Play The Mayan Book Slot

• Gamble Features. There are two gamble features: Dealer and Red or Black. You get to decide which of the two is active by going to the settings section. Whenever you win in the base game, you’ll have the option of playing the active gamble feature. If it’s Dealer, a card will be revealed and you’ll get to pick one of four cards; if yours is higher, your winnings are doubled; if not, your winnings are lost. For the Red or Black option, you’re guessing whether the next card is red or black and if you’re right, your winnings are doubled; you can guess the suit instead and if you’re right, your money is quadrupled. Both gamble features last a maximum of five turns.
   

• Symbols. The slot’s most rewarding symbol is a purple mask, which pays 500x your bet for five on a payline. Other high-paying symbols include a red mask, a blue jewel and a green jewel. All four of these pay for two or more on an active payline. The slot’s low-paying symbols are a red jewel and coloured swirls depicting the sun, fire, water and plants. The low-paying symbols pay for three or more on a payline.
   

• Bonus Symbols. There’s one bonus symbol and that’s the book. It acts as both a scatter and a wild. It triggers the free spins round and substitutes for all other symbols. It also pays for two to five on a payline and can pay for three to five anywhere. When working out payouts, the slot counts the book as a wild first, then as a scatter. Its wild symbol payouts are the same as the purple mask symbol.

• Free Spins. Getting three or more book symbols on the reels earns you 10 free spins. The free spins round can be retriggered and each round can last a maximum of 150 spins. Before the round starts, one of the slot’s regular symbols is chosen to become a super symbol. The super symbol pays no matter where it is on a payline, so long as there are three or more instances of it. The super symbol can also expand to fill the reels it’s on if there are enough instances of it on the reels. If the super symbol is one of the four high-paying symbols, it expands if there are two or more on the reels; if it’s one of the low-paying symbols, three or more are required.
   

• Craft Bonus. Click the ‘CRAFT BONUS’ icon to the left of the reels and you’ll get to purchase a trigger of the free spins round. Choose a bet size and a number of super symbols (1-9) - both of these factors affect the cost of the round.
