Incredible Empire: A Roman Slot With Not Much Going On

Incredible Empire takes you back to the time of the mighty Roman civilization. The slot’s graphics are quite good and the dramatic soundtrack goes along with the Roman military theme quite well. Before playing, I had a look at the paytable and saw that it didn’t offer much, with only four symbols (no wilds or scatters) and a free spins round with a multiplier.

When it came to actually playing the slot, I didn’t enjoy it much at all. It seemed that to trigger free spins, I had to get a five-of-a-kind win with a star appearing above reel 5. If this happened, I would then choose a throne to reveal five-25 spins, though I could have alternatively received a multiplier worth 5x to 25x instead.

Unfortunately, I never managed to get a five-symbol win with a star above reel 5, so I never got to play the free spins round, nor did I ever receive a multiplier for my win. It was disappointing that I didn’t get to experience either of the slot’s two features.

What also made the slot unappealing was that the base game was boring, to say the least. There were no wilds to help me bring in some wins, nor was there any kind of enhancer or special effect that could take place. In other words, the base game was nothing but spinning the reels and landing winning combinations every now and then.

Speaking of which, I won quite often, though most of my payouts were just a few times the size of my bet or smaller. The biggest win I got was 10x, which wasn’t much really.

Overall, I wasn’t impressed with Incredible Empire and wouldn’t play it again in a hurry. There are lots of other slots with similar themes whose gameplay is more enjoyable and entertaining.
