Coba Reborn: The Jungle Is Full of Snakes

In Coba Reborn, encountering snakes is surprisingly not as alarming as it might be in other jungle-themed games. The temple jungle visuals maintain a resemblance to the original game, albeit darker and slightly more polished. While not groundbreaking, the gameplay remains focused on releasing a swarm of snakes, a feature that will bring joy rather than fear.

To unleash these serpentine companions, I collect winning symbols, filling the Snake Meter across its four levels. Each level-up rewards me with three snakes until I reach the pinnacle at level 4, where a whopping six snakes are set loose. The introduction of Orchid symbols adds an extra layer of excitement, either summoning snakes or enhancing them with distinct attributes.

The game employs the Avalanche mechanic, removing winning symbols and filling gaps with new or existing symbols. This process continues as long as my winning streak persists. The removed symbols contribute to the Snake Progress Meter, which, when filled halfway, rewards wilds in random positions. Completing the meter unleashes snakes, providing an exhilarating twist to the gameplay.

The game’s downside is certainly the below average RTP of 94%. With that being said, there were many times where I managed to score some big wins, and that helped me keep my spirit high.

The snakes, a minimum of 5 symbols long, slither randomly across the grid, transforming symbols in their wake. The color-changing feature indicates their vulnerability, adding an element of strategy to the game. Orchid symbols and wilds play crucial roles in the snake's evolution, turning them wild or resurrecting them, creating a dynamic and engaging experience.

Encountering different Orchid symbols, each with unique powers, adds depth to the game. The Blood Orchid spawns snakes and turns wild, the Hydra Orchid duplicates snakes with upgrades, the Rebirth Orchid revives dead snakes, and the Ouroboros Orchid grants survival skills and spawns multiplier wilds.

The game's complexity is balanced by its simplicity, making Coba Reborn an enjoyable and captivating slot experience. With each spin, I find myself eagerly anticipating the unpredictable journey of the snakes and the exciting possibilities they bring to the game.
