Symbol pays start at 1x your bet and go all the way up to 50x for the 7s, which is a bit low for a classic slot. That said, the game isn’t really about matching symbols in my experience. It took me twenty spins to land my first win, and it was not off of regular symbols but the cash and collect coins. 

Regular symbols got me the usual 1x to 4x payout, but they were dwarfed in comparison to the coins, getting me anywhere from 3x to 12x returns when a collect symbol came into view alongside them. The collect symbol can only land on the second reel, and if you land cash symbols on the first and third reels alongside it, you trigger the re-spins bonus game. 

You know the drill for this bonus feature, three re-spins that reset each time you land a coin symbol. The crazy part is when you land a collect symbol, the grid it lands on gets a +1x multiplier, which got up to 4x in my case, and got me a major 61x payout. I managed to cross the 100x barrier twice on subsequent triggers, but it takes a while to trigger the bonus, so getting to it won’t be a cakewalk. 

Speaking of taking a while, you also get the option to skip directly to the bonus using the bonus buy button. You can start up the regular re-spins round for 100x your wager and start with the first and third reel already carrying 2x multipliers for 200x your bet. 

My time with the Fortune Power Hold and Win slot was pretty mixed, but that’s how it goes with classic slots. The base game felt tense, and there were times when I was staring at the screen for over twenty spins, praying to the RNG gods for something to connect. Yet when those coins and collect symbols lined up, the wait definitely felt worth the wait.
