Pirates’ Plenty takes you on a treasure hunt across the 7 seas. Red Tiger Gaming did an awesome job with the graphics and artwork of this slot. They aren’t just visually appealing; they’re also in line with the theme of the game. The main symbols in the game are the skeleton with a bandana (highest paying at 50X), the rum bottle, the smoking gun, the cannon, and the wild monkey. The game itself is set in a pirate ship that’s littered with gold coins and swords.

Moving on to the game features. I was most impressed by the treasure reel. So, what exactly is it? And how does it work? This is the 6th reel that contains wild multipliers (up to 5X). To understand it, you’ll have to keep in mind the conspicuous pirates’ map on the right side of the screen.

Whenever you land a map symbol, the ship on the map will move closer to the X spot (treasure reel). I had to exercise patience with this feature since the ship moves quite slowly. But it’s worth the wait since the treasure reel remains open for all future spins at the same stake.

The next feature is the wild monkey. The dramatic nature of this feature fascinated me a lot. The monkey appears on the reels randomly and steals all low-paying icons. This triggers a respin. During the respin, the monkey will turn into a wild symbol, giving you a chance to land more winning combinations.

Free spins are present in this game, but I didn’t find them any good. In my experience, they are triggered quite rarely. I was also frustrated at how few the free spins were (10 spins). Even worse, I couldn’t retrigger this bonus. The only way you can get more spins is by opening a treasure chest.

To sum up, I enjoyed the creative theme of this slot. Interesting features like the wild monkey, treasure reel, and free spins also drew me in. My only complaint is that the free spins are almost never triggered.
