Fugaso continues its experiments with the one-armed bandit formula in Blazing Gold Coins Running Wins. This classic-themed video slot tempted me with a 20,000x max win and four jackpots, keeping me at the reels for well over an hour to see whether they were worth the chase. 

This 3- 4- 3 reel layout is filled with classic fruits, lucky sevens, wilds, and cash symbols capable of triggering the Hold and Win bonus. With 15 paylines and a respectable 96.11% RTP, my expectations were higher than usual, as both are fairly uncommon in this type of setup. 

While squeezing those fruits for every possible payout, I was landing wins every 7 to 8 spins, with average returns sitting between 3x and 4x my bet. Those long dry stretches were enough to test my patience until the game occasionally rewarded me with base game hits of 28x, 30x, and 32x my bet. 

The combination of generous symbol payouts and the cash collection mechanic was the main reason I managed to recover my losses and even come out ahead at times. On the other hand, the bonus round wasn't nearly as rewarding. It took me almost 100 spins to trigger the Hold and Win feature, only to receive a 42x return. 

The game also offers bonus buy options, but after seeing such underwhelming bonus payouts, even with multipliers in play, I never felt confident enough to spend my bankroll on them. 

Blazing Gold Coins Running Wins is an interesting addition to Fugaso's Running Wins series, but its bonus feature failed to impress me. The strong base game payouts kept me entertained for a while, yet they weren't enough to justify spending more than 300 spins.
