When I started playing Rocketrun The M.A.N.K. Aliens Protocol, I was impressed by the design. The premise of the slot is that a group of aliens are constructing a rocket, and the graphics, animations, and soundtrack were all of high quality.

Overall, the slot’s theming was very immersive. The gameplay was quite enjoyable, though I should point out that it was very hard to win big in the base game. In fact, I never won above 5x my bet, which was surprising.

Saying that, I did still earn some big payouts, and they came from the slot’s bonus round. This came into play once I did two things: collected 10 canister symbols and landed a wild on all five positions on reel 3.

The bonus round worked in a way that I wasn’t expecting: it was essentially a crash game but with checkpoints. At the start, I chose one of three paths. Each of them had a range of multipliers for me to collect, but if I encountered a meteor, the round would end.

When I first played the bonus round, I chose the leftmost path and won 40x before reaching the first checkpoint. I decided to cash out my winnings. The second time, I won some money then chose a second path, but encountered a meteor. 

This meant I didn’t win anything. The third and final time the feature triggered, I won 36x from the first path I chose, then decided to cash out. I liked the way the feature worked, though it can be volatile; there’s a decent chance you’ll end up with no winnings.

The bonus round can be rewarding, but risky too. I suggest playing the slot for free to get a feel for what the bonus round is like before playing for real money.
