When I first played this slot, I didn't think much of it. It was ok for its time, with a modest number of special features and average RTP. Many years later, I realized how unique of a game it really is. Yes, it’s still a slot game with a standard reel mechanic and betting options, but the style of it, the 3D looks makes it special. Playing the base game, you feel like you’re in some tunnels, watched from the shadows by something. The atmosphere feels spooky and for a good reason. The Minotaur is the main attraction of the game, with its special Respin mechanic, and more importantly, his 3D animation. He looks unnerving enough that I didn't know how to feel about his special features. If you trigger it normally, and you’re lucky, the prize can go well over 100x the bet. If you’re not patient enough, you can buy the feature using the special button on the left of the reels.

Another interesting option of Minotaurus is the ability to gamble your prize in a round. Many other slots allow you to choose from black vs. red, or even one of the four suits for a better prize multiplier. In this slot, your only option is to either gamble, or not gamble your winnings. It’s simpler this way, but less engaging for the player. There are some aspects that show the slot’s old age, but overall, it can still be played today and be profitable if you’re lucky.

Tips to Win in Minotaurus

Having the Buy feature at hand, it’s easy to get distracted and use all your balance on that. The feature itself has 3 options, and from my experience, I don’t recommend using the third and most expensive option. It costs a lot and the results are underwhelming at best.
